Easy Homemade Mac and Cheese

I feel much better feeding my kids this easy homemade mac and cheese knowing that they are not eating that yucky powdered cheese loaded with preservatives, and it's almost just as easy! Here is the recipe....
2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
1/4 stick or butter
1/4 cup all purpose flour
2 cups milk
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
Cook macaroni according to package directions. While macaroni is cooking melt butter in 3qt saucepan over low heat. Stir in milk, slowly whisk in flour. Heat to a boil slowly stirring constantly. Sauce will begin to thicken, add cheese, some salt and pepper, and add to macaroni!
